About
My name is Jacob Alzén and I’m an open source developer, amateur photographer, and runner from Sweden. I enjoy pushing my physical limits with long distance running (preferably on the trails) or climbing. Right now, I’m pursuing my forth year (first Master year) of Computer Science and Engineering towards a M.Sc in secure systems at Linköping University, Sweden.
I’ve been active within open source communities for many years. Before learning software development, I was working on community moderation, release testing, and translation for the Brave browser project. Among other things, I translated the entire browser from English to Swedish. I have since moved on to being an active developer within various other open source projects (including my own and external projects). Some of the programming languages that I work with on a regular basis are Go, Python and C++.
You will find many of my open source projects, and more information about them, over on the projects page. Most notably, I am a member of the team of core developers working on Fyne. My most popular personal project is Rymdport at the moment.
